Prince Pharmaceutical's Food Factory (Prince Pharmaceutical Xinpu Factory), established in Xinpu Town, Hsinchu in 2000, is a professional OEM factory for health food. The factory is divided into factory I and factory II for manufacturing health food products of different formulations, and is dedicated to the R&D of health food products of different formulations, such as film-coated tablets, double-layer tablets, triple-layer tablets, sugar-coated tablets, capsules, powders and instant granules etc., as well as the design and development of market-competitive health food formulations. There are also many professional nutritionists and R&D personnel in the factory to provide clients with high-quality services that improve over time.

Food Plant History

    The Food Manufacturing Department was set up in a separate zone in the Prince Pharmaceutical Hsinchu Factory
  • 2000年
    Food Plant was independently established in Xinpu Town, Hsinchu County.
  • 2003年
    Food Plant passed the GMP accreditation and up to 20 products were GMP-certified.
  • 2006年
    Food Plant was awarded the HACCP safety certificate.
  • 2007年
    Food Plant was awarded the ISO 9001:2000 safety certificate.
  • 2009年
    The second food plant was established with the aim to implement the concept of health food.
  • 2013年
    Food Plant was awarded the ISO 22000:2005 safety certificate.
  • 2014年
    Taiwan abolished the food GMP certification and changed it to the TQF certification.
  • 2017年
    Food Plant passed the TQF Certification.

Food Factory

The food factory was separated into different factories for different licenses in 2000, thereby eliminating concerns of cross-contamination between drugs and food. Part of the factory is fully separated with thorough dust collection pipes and has a diverse range of professional manufacturing equipment, such as manufacturing technology for special multi-layer tablets suitable for quick breakdown and slow release. The factory is also equipped with independent inspection benches. All capsules and tablets are inspected on the benches for quality control before packaging, thus increasing the yield rate. With 50 years of pharmaceutical manufacturing technology, Prince Pharmaceutical provides the health food industry with better pharmaceutical-grade OEM services.
